Ghanaian Afrobeats singer, Wendy Shay says, in her way of thinking, everyone should dress to match the kind of job they do.
According to the singer, if she, or MzVee, dresses to the stage with things that expose her body and figure there is nothing wrong with it.
Speaking in an interview on Accra FM, the RuffTown Records signee said exposing one’s body as an entertainer is part of the package because artistes are meant to entertain their audience with what they've got.
“A nurse wears her uniform so that one can identify that this person is a nurse. If you are an actor or singer you are an entertainer and you have to entertain your audience. For me, I call it an act it’s just an act”.

Explaining further, she said, “everyone admires something beautiful but I didn’t say we should be exposing our bodies. I didn’t say when you expose your body that’s fine, like going extremely”.
She, however, indicated that she will not wear revealing clothes when she is not on stage.
“I won’t dress like that to the market, it is just for the stage.”
Wendy Shay, who is making waves with her debut single, titled "Uber Driver", made her first stage appearance over the weekend.
She was invited to the Despite and Special Groups of Companies’ blood donation exercise dubbed ‘Blood Donation and Health Fair’ where she made her debut stage appearance.
