Ighalo has now scored four goals in four games since he returned to Changchun Yatai .
Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo scored two goals for his club side Changchun Yatai in their 3-0 win against Dalian Yifang on Wednesday, August 1.
It was his fourth goal in the four games he has played since he returned from the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Ighalo put Changchun Yatai ahead when he converted a penalty kick as early as the 10th minute of the encounter.
Adrian Mierzejewski doubled the lead for Changchun Yatai in the 29th minute when he converted a ball through to him by Xiaodong Fan.
Ighalo scored the third goal for his side when he again converted another penalty in the 39th minute.
Ighalo was not allowed to score a hat-trick as he was replaced by Changcheng Cheng in the 67th minute.
With his two goal, Ighalo now has a total of 11 goals in 15 appearances for Changchun Yatai after two in his initial two matches against Shandong Luneng.
Ighalo is now the second highest goalscorer in the Chinese Super League (CSL) to Shanghai SIPG's Wu Lei.
The 30-year-old Super Eagles forward failed to find the back of the net at the World Cup after featuring in all three group games against Croatia, Iceland and Argentina.
Ighalo will hope his return to good form after the World Cup will get him an invitation by coach Gernot Rohr for the Super Eagles African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Seychelles in September 2018.
