Salah: Liverpool star mocks Manchester United after exit from Champions League

Salah helped Liverpool overcome Porto to progress to the quarter finals of the Champions League.

Liverpool star player Mohammed Salah mocked Manchester United after their exit from the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League.

Manchester United were defeated 2-1 by Sevilla, as the Spanish team progressed to the quarter finals of the competition.

Salah who is joint Premier League top scorer with Harry Kane was trolled by Manchester United supporters following Manchester United's  2 -1 win to  Liverpool on Saturday, March 10.

The pacey Egyptian posted a message on his official Twitter account after Manchester United were knocked out by Sevilla which said, "The UCL draw can't come soon enough,"  along with a smiling emoji.

Manchester United left back Ashley Young had earlier uploaded a picture of himself at the club training ground with a caption.

"Stop asking me! He's not in my pocket, I swear he's not."  which was presumed to be a message to the Egyptian forward who Young kept silent all through the game.

The 25-year-old responded back, but had to wait for Wissam Ben Yedder's brace to knock out the reigning Europa League Champions.

 

Salah had earlier helped Liverpool to progress to the quarter final of the Champions League after they defeated Porto 5-0 on aggregate.

Salah and his Liverpool teammates are however, five points behind Manchester United in the Premier League table.

The Egyptian was recently crowned CAF Player of the year, and his amazing from has seen him become one of the favourites to be named player of the year in England.
