His home in England will have a chapel where “contemplation and prayer” will be done.
Ed Sheeran is going to build a private Chapel in his country estate in Suffolk, England.
According to Huffington Post, the 27-year-old British singer-songwriter's plan was revealed in a building application to the Suffolk Coastal District Council.
The private chapel will be “non-denominational” for his guests with “high profiles and an associated need for discretion.”
Sheeran’s guests will have an “ecumenical” space for “peace and safety from disturbance.”

According to the proposal, the chapel will have a small entrance porch, a small gallery, a stained glass window, and a 48-foot tower with winding steps.
Designed to be “strictly non-denominational and for the spiritual regeneration of both traditional and less traditional types,” it is expected to take around 24 people in eight pews.
Nevertheless, the chapel will look like traditional Saxon round-tower churches, found in England’s Suffolk County.
“The intention is that the chapel will appear as if it has been present for over a thousand years,” the application states.
The 27-year-old musician intends to use the chapel for the “celebration of life and family milestones,” like marriages and christenings.
Reportedly, the chapel will be built by the architecture firm, Donald Insall Associates.
BBC reports that the Suffolk Coastal District Council is expected to respond to his application in April, 2018.
