Super Eagles defender Stephen Eze has described his first game for his new club Lokomotiv Plovdin as fantastic.
Eze was in action as Lokomotiv Plovdin defeated Pirin Blagoevgrad 1 – 0, and the centre back was happy with the result and his performance in his first appearance for his new club.
The 23-year-old took to his social media after he match to post a picture of his jersey alongside a statement which said, “DEBUT | Feel fantastic in my debut game at #lokomotivplovdiv and to have 3 points in the bag ! The CHAN silver medallist was in action alongside compatriot Mohammed Musa, he had agreed a move to Plovdin during the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN), and was recently unveiled by the club.
Eze will hope that Super Eagles handler Gernot Rohr who was at the CHAN to keep an eye on the home based team, and will call him up for Nigeria's upcoming friendlies
He has played for NPFL sides Lobi Stars, Sunshine Stars, Ifeanyi Ubah and Kano Pillars before his move abroad.
Eze is expected to be in action when Lokomotiv Plovdin travel to take on Slavia Sofia on Sunday, February 25.
