After the premiere of "Esohe" in Massachusetts and Houston, Texas, Desmond Elliot, Ufuoma Mcdermott and Toyin Abraham led top stars to the Nigerian premiere in Benin, Edo State.
The premiere, which held on Sunday, December 17, 2017, had several Nollywood acts in attendance wearing Benin regalia.

The event was attended by cast and crew of the film including Desmond Elliot, Toyin Abraham, Jemaima Osunde, Ufuoma McDermott, Mascot Lancelot, Charles Uwagbai, Monica Swaida and top officials of Edo State Government, among others.
A collaboration between Nollywood and Hollywood, "Esohe" has been described as a cocktail of love, murder and mystery connecting two centuries.

Set in ancient Benin Kingdom, the movie stars Jimmy Jean Louis, Misty Lockheart, Desmond Elliot, Chris Attoh, Bimbo Manuel, Ufuoma McDermott, Toyin Abraham, Jemaima Osunde and Monica Omorodion Swaida.
The movie also features fast rising Nollywood actors like Eunice Omorogie, Omoye Uzamere, Oghenekaro Itene and Osagie Elegbe.
Esohe is a fictional story by Charles Uwagbai and Efetobore Ayeteni, which was written by Bimbo Manuel and produced by Charles Uwagbai, Monica Swaida and Robert Peters.
Esohe will debut in Cinemas in January 2018.
