Just before justice prevailed

Babalola and one other student, Omoteye Olalekan had previously been arraigned before a court presided by Justice Ayodeji Daramola for allegedly raping a lady in March 2013.

After declaring the student innocent, the judge struck out the case due to the manner the prosecution was handled and the non-interest of the alleged rape victim in the case.
