Resident doctors in Abuja today announced they were embarking on an indefinite strike over unpaid salaries. Nigerians described the doctors as ”insenstitive” for embarking on a strike action in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. A Nigerian doctor @Okizle has explained why doctors can go on a strike at a time like this. He said doctors in Nigeria are not adequately paid to treat patients and that the harzard allowance for medical doctors in Nigeria is N5, 000.
