Resident doctors in Abuja today announced they were embarking on an indefinite strike over unpaid salaries. Nigerians described the doctors as ”insenstitive” for embarking on a strike action in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. He said doctors in Nigeria are not adequately paid to treat patients and that the harzard allowance for medical doctors in Nigeria is N5, 000.
