That's where Fat Snax comes into play-a Brooklyn-based keto-centric company that sells low-carb keto cookies.
Let's be real for a minute: The keto diet is full of super-tasty things: cheese, bacon, cheese, avocado, cheese...but there's one food mainstay it kind of fails at: dessert. (Sorry guys, Greek yogurt and berries don't count.)
That's where Fat Snax comes into play-a Brooklyn-based keto-centric company that sells low-carb keto cookies. The company used to only sell their snacks (cookies and Fat Tea, a take on bulletproof coffee) online-until now.
The fairly new keto brand (they have only been around for 18 months) has partnered with The Vitamin Shoppe to offer their best-selling keto cookies, which are now in 740 stores, nationwide.
“Making a large retail launch like this is an exciting step,” Fat Snax CEO Jeffrey Frese said in a news release via email. “While we’ve had great success so far online, we’re ready to reach customers in person and The Vitamin Shoppe has been a great launch partner.”
Frese himself is a keto dieter-he actually started Fat Snax after adopting a keto lifestyle and finding he was frustrated with the next-to-zilch available snack options (same, bro).
The cookies are currently available in Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter and Lemony Lemon (though other flavors are on the way in the coming months). Each cookie has 1 to 2 net carbs, no sugar, and eight to nine grams of fat. They are also free of grains, gluten, and preservatives...and honestly, if you see them, they look like legit, fresh-baked, gluten-full cookies.
Oh, and good news if you're a loyal follower: Fans of the cookies include none other than Jenna Jameson herself...so yeah, looks like you need to try these out if you haven't yet (or stock up, if you have).
