The Black Maidens sensation has been shortlisted among 15 players for the 2018 CAF Player of the Year award.
Mukarama Abdulai has been nominated for the 2018 CAF Women’s Player of the Year award after excelling in 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The 16-year-old forward is expected to win the top scorer’s award in the ongoing 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Brazil, after scoring seven goals in the competition.

CAF has recognized the display of the Black Maidens skipper by shortlisting her for the CAF Women’s Player of the Year.

She has been shortlisted among compatriots Portia Boakye and Elizabeth Addo, both members of the Black Queens team who disappointed in the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
The winner of the award will be announced on 8 January 2019 at a ceremony in Dakar, Senegal.
