The Chelsea goalie didn’t train as he looks forward to joining Real Madrid.

Thibaut Courtois refused to train with Chelsea on Monday as he forces a move away from the Stanford Bridge to the Santiago Bernabeau.

Courtois, 26 has made his intention to rejoin his family who are based in the Spanish Capital, Madrid clear, having communicated this to Maurizio Sarri, the new Chelsea boss.

Chelsea, are now in a fixed since they risk losing the player next season on free transfer if they decide to keep him.

It seems that a deal for Courtois could be completed soon, especially considering that Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri told the press that he only wanted “players fully committed.”

Real Madrid could reportedly pay around €35 million to sign the Belgian goalkeeper. Chelsea will be forced to sell Courtois if they don’t want him to leave as a free agent next year, given that his contract expires in June 2019.
