We look at two reasons why your prayers may be going unanswered.
At one point or another, most people have felt like God was purposefully ignoring them, choosing not to answer their prayers, no matter how passionately they prayed.
Today, Pulse Religion offers some answers to anyone who has ever felt this way. Here are two major reasons why your prayers may be going unanswered:
Your prayers are not backed by faith
Its one thing to pray and a totally different thing to pray with faith. When you pray totally believing in the person you are praying to, it increases your chances of getting answered. If there is no faith, you probably should not be expecting an answer.
James 1:5–8 says, "…But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do."
Remember, "it is impossible to please God without faith as anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him" (Hebrews 11:6).

God knows better
Contrary to the belief that some prayers go unanswered, God does answer with three responses - Yes, no, and wait.
Not getting your desired reply could be God's way of telling you to wait or no because He has something better or because you might not be ready to receive what you want.
In Matthew 7:11 Jesus said, "If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him."
Ephesians 3:20 adds, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
Trust Him in spite of your unanswered prayers. Trust me, His way is better than you can imagine.
