The Belgium striker met with the hip-hop stars on Thursday, August 2 backstage at the instalment of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s ‘On the Run II Tour' at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The 25-year-old striker took to his social media to share photos and a video from his meeting with the hip-hop royalties.
The video he posted shows him hugging Jay Z as he said his farewell to the rapper and entrepreneur.
“See you soon man, keep doing it and we'll talk,” Jay Z said as he hugged the Premier League star.
Lukaku is a business partner of Jay Z as he is signed to the rapper’s Roc Nation Management which also have Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng, NBA star Kevin Durant in their books.
Lukaku scored four goals to help Belgium finish third at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
He will resume pre-season with Manchester United in the coming days but is set to miss their opening Premier League fixtures.
