Here is the list of 60 houses reportedly traced to Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President

The assets were suspected to have been acquired through illicit funds.

Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is currently investigating the country's Deputy Senate President for owning up to 60 assets across four countries, including Nigeria.

Senator Ike Ekweremadu, the Deputy Senate President is being quizzed by the anti-graft agency on his acquisition of the assets - when and how they were paid for, by who, and whether he declared them before the Code of Conduct Bureau as stipulated for all public officers in the country.

Sources at the anti-corruption agency told The Nation, a local newspaper, that the politician acquired numerous assets in Nigeria, United Kingdom, United States and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
