For winning 50.8% of the votes, President Mnangagwa narrowly missed a run-off election against his main rival, Chimasa.
Zimbabwe's local newspaper, Herald, reported on Friday, August 3, 2018, that the Chimasa has finally admitted that his party lost the 2018 parliamentary elections to the ruling Zanu-PF.
