MI Abaga: Rapper releases new album ''Yung Denzel''

MI Abaga has released his much anticipated eight studio project, Yung Denzel.

MI Abaga has officially released his new album, ''Yung Denzel''.

The album which he tags 'A Study on Self Worth', which is the first in the three part series of his upcoming projects was released on Friday, August 24.

Yung Denzel boasts of 10 tracks and  feature artists like Tay Iwar, Cina Soul, Niyola, Odunsi the Engine, Patricxxlee and Lady Donli.

The Yung Denzel album is the second on the #LAMBAugust offerings from the Chocolate City stable that has seen Loose Kaynon and AQ drop the Crown joint project, with Bad Boy Blaq by Blaqbonez scheduled to be released next Friday.

The album touches on several themes such as self discovery, depression and believing in ones self.

MI Abaga has enjoyed an interesting build-up leading to the release of this album. Late 2017, he dropped the highly controversial single, 'You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Lives', throwing shot at Nigerian rappers and the state of the genre in the country, which generated a lot of reactions online.

He then followed it up with the release of the very experimental project, Rendezvous, which witnessed a number of collaborations with younger talents.

Yung Denzel is his second project this year, and one the rapper calls a 'career suicide'.
