Idah Peterside: Former Super Eagles goalkeeper welcomes baby after 10-years of marriage

Former Super Eagles media officer Idah Peterside and his wife welcome baby after 10-years.

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Idah Peterside and his wife Iyenemi welcomed a baby on Sunday, August 20 after 10 years of marriage.

Peterside Idah confirmed the birth of the child through a message on his official Twitter account.

The message on his Twitter account explains that he and his wife have been married for 10 years and have been expecting the blessing of a child.

 

The message read, “We give God the glory that after 10years 21 days of marriage God has finally blessed us with our first child. mother and baby are fine.”

 

The 43-year-old former shot-stopper is now a pastor at Christ Assembly where he ministers.

Idah Peterside has worked as a media officer for the Super Eagles of Nigeria after and has also been involved constantly in punditry duties with popular media outlet SuperSport after his retirement from the national team in 2002.

 

Peterside expressed his gratitude to God for the gift of the Child and also to well-wishers who congratulated him on the latest addition to their family.

He played for the Super Eagles from 1998 and was last called up in 2001, he also previously played for Nigerian football strong clubs, BCC Lions of Gboko and Enyimba International of Aba.
