The former AC Milan midfielder and his compatriots registered their names on the scoresheet as Sassuolo defeated Ternana 5-1 on Sunday.
Kevin-Prince Boateng and Alfred Duncan powered Sassuolo to an emphatic 5-1 win against lower division side Ternana in the Coppa Italia round of 32,
Boateng broke the deadlock of the game with nine minutes into the game, before Domenico Berardi doubled the lead in the 22nd minute.
And Alfred Duncan 60th minute goal made it 3-0 in favour of Sasuolo.
Domenico Berardi grabbed his second goal of the day on the 41st minute before Francesco Magnanelli completed their victory.
Kevin-Prince Boateng joined his compatriot, Duncan this season at the Italian Serie A side, after excelling at Eintracht Frankfurt.
