Ghana attacker Andre Ayew has reveled in his debut appearance for Fenerbahce following his move to the Turkish side.
The 28-year-old joined the Superlig giants on a season-long loan deal from Championship outfit Swansea City earlier this week.Ayew subsequently made his bow for his new employers on Wednesday when Fenerbahce took on Italian side Cagliari in a pre-season friendly.
The Black Stars deputy captain was named in the starting line-up, as he helped the Yellow and Canaries record a 2-1 win over their opponents.
The former West Ham United star played for almost an hour before being replaced by teammate Baris Alici.
Ayew was happy to have made his debut for Fenerbahce, adding that he is already preparing for the club’s next game.

In a Twitter post, the former BBC African footballer of the year wrote "Happy to play my first friendly game for the club. Good win. We thank Allah.. Let’s prepare for next week."
This is Ayew’s first time playing in the Turkish Superlig, having previously played in France and England.
