Get rid of the fear and anxiety by focusing on what God says instead.
Being a Christian does not suddenly make you immune to fear, anxiety or depression. Like everyone else, we all face things that make us scared, sad and worried. The difference is that we can always turn to the unshakable promises in the Bible. Here are five great Bible verses to help you overcome these negative emotions:
Philippians 4:5–7
"The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
Romans 8:32
"He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"

2 Corinthians 4:17–18
"For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal."
Matthew 11:28–30
"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Romans 8:28
"We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."
By relying on God's words, we can always still the storm inside. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
