Dele Alli: Tottenham midfielder’s hand celebration is now the new wave

The new celebration craze has swept across the football world as players took to Instagram to try and pull off the move.

As the new Premier League season hits up, Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli is the first viral sensation of the season with his new hand celebration which has now become a new wave.

Alli's used the twisted hand movement while celebrating his goal in Tottenham’s 2-1 win away at Newcastle United on Saturday, August 11.

 

The new celebration craze has swept across the football world as players took to Instagram to try and pull off the move.

Alli was seen on Instagram trying to teach his teammates Georges-Kevin N'Koudou and Fernando Llorente the hand movement but they struggled with it.

 

Manchester United stars joined in the craze as the likes of Paul Pogba, Fred, Eric Bailly and Andreas Pereira were also seen on Instagram trying to pull off the move.

It wasn’t just for the players as Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino also joined in.

 

In an Instagram post by Tottenham, Pochettino pulled off the new celebration into three stages, making it look simple.

Alli will be hoping to pull off the celebratory as many times as possible this weekend starting with their home clash against Fulham on Saturday, August 17.
