Omoni Oboli is one of the most instrumental figures in Nollywood and the guys are crushing on this amazing woman.

On this beautiful Wednesday, the guys will be crushing on the multi-talented actress, Omoni Oboli.

Omoni Oboli originally hails from Mosogar in Delta state but was born in Benin City on April 22, 1978. After her primary and secondary school education, Omoni gained admission to the University of Benin where she studied Foreign Languages (French), she, however, graduated with a second class upper division.

Omoni Oboli's journey to Nollywood and stardom began in 1996 when she started in the movie 'Bitter Encounter.' She went to star in some really major movies in the 90s including 'Not My Will,' 'Destined To Die,' and 'Another Campus Tale.'

 

She, however, took a break from the fame to finish her university education. After graduating, Omoni went on to start a family by getting married which took her out of Nollywood for a decade. After relocating back to Nigeria from the United Kingdom, Omoni decided to go back to her first love, acting.

 

It didn't take long as they say ''A golden fish has no hiding place'' and Omoni Oboli bounced back to her place in the entertainment industry. She went on to star in a number of films which earned her as one of the most respected actors in Nollywood.

 

Omoni has played lead roles in mainstream films, including The Figurine (2009), Anchor Baby (2010), Being Mrs Elliot, Fifty (2015) to mention a few. Omoni's talent doesn't just end there as she has gone on to direct and produce a number of movies including 'Wives On Strike' and it's sequel, 'Okafor's Law'  as well as 'The Rivals,' a movie she co-produced with her friend and won the prize for Best International Drama at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival.

 

Only recently Omoni Oboli wrote her very first book 'The Stars Are Ageless' which dwells more about here grass to grace story and the people who were instrumental to her growth from early childhood to the point of stardom. Omoni Oboli's work speaks for her as she has a number of awards to her shelf.

 

Omoni Oboli isn't just a talented actress, scriptwriter, producer, director and most recently author but a very beautiful and classy woman. She stuns her fans and admirers whenever she walks on the red carpet or post photos on her social media page. Omoni is also a philanthropist who is involved in a number of charitable works.

 

She is married to Nnamdi Oboli and the couple is blessed with three adorable boys. Guys let's just say you should have a very healthy crush on Omoni, see her as a role model, mentor or big sister and that should be it!
