WAEC announces where those who sat for WASSCE for private candidates can collect their certificates and how much they'll pay.
The West Africa Examination Council has announced the point of collection of results for candidates who wrote the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for private candidates.
Using its Twitter handle, the body urges the candidates to collect their certificates at its offices in the states where they sat for the exam.
The Council in the tweet also said that collection fee for the certificate is N3,550 while Custody Fee applies to certificates that have stayed in our custody for more than four years.

The tweet reads: Kindly note that you're to collect your WASSCE for Private Candidates certificate in our office in the State you sat the examination. Collection fee is N3,550 while Custody Fee applies to certificates that have stayed in our custody for more than 4years.
WAEC extends registration deadline for GCE to July 27, 2018
Meanwhile, the exam body has extended the registration deadline for the Nov/Dec edition of its exams to July 27, 2018.
Intending candidates who have not registered for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates (Second Series) can now do so the registration window closes again.
The exam council announced the deadline extension on Thursday, July 5, 2018, on its Twitter page.
