Peter said his twin brother will insult his wife and family at will in public and expect a performance with him without even an apology.

Peter Okoye has said he won't perform with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, who would insult his wife and kids then expect a Psquare performance afterwards.

In an interview with Citizen TV in Kenya, Peter said his twin brother will insult his wife and family at will in public and expect a performance with him without even an apology.

I don’t disrespect my brother’s wife neither, his family but he does that to me all the time. He’ll insult me and my family in public, on Instagram, and the next minute he’ll wait for me backstage for us to perform together," Peter said.

Continuing, Peter said he won't go back on his vows to protect and love his wife and family - Peter got married to Lola Omotayo-Okoye in 2015 and they have two children named Cameron and Aliona.

I can’t do that. One thing is for sure, I took a vow to protect my wife and kids the day I got married and I stick to that.

I pulled out the plug because I felt the disrespect coming from my family (was) getting too much,” he said.

Psquare can only come back if my family is respected 100 percent - Peter

Months after the split of the duo Psquare, Peter has explained the condition for a Psquare comeback.

“Psquare can only come back if the respect comes 100 percent.

“The fans want Psquare but how many times do you want Psquare to come back and break up.

“We’ve broken up three times and the same issue is still there. So if Psquare is going to come back we need to settle that issue. Psquare might come back, they might not come back," Peter told the TV station.

Determined to protect his wife and kids from alleged insults from his twin brother, Paul, Peter said, "In life what we call family value is important. There’s something we call marginalisation. Don’t ever be a slave because you want to be family."

Psquare fall apart

The Okoye family have been in the news lately for all the wrong reason which dates back to the hint of the feud between Peter and Paul which then generated into a full-blown crisis.

From Instagram shade to Twitter slamming and even the viral video of the brothers almost exchanging blows at their lawyer's office to insulting each other, the Okoye brothers have definitely had a very eventful and interesting year filled with drama.
