The story of the Choc Boiz Crew
The Choc Boiz at some point in the history of the Nigerian music industry represented one of the most vibrant crews on the scene.
A prominent creation of the label, Chocolate City, featuring three individual heavyweights in M.I Abaga, Jesse Jagz and Brymo, who were at the height of their powers.
The crew teamed up to serve a number of classic songs including, 'Nobody Test Me', 'Represent', 'Overkilling remix' with Djinee and more.
The label was later swelled by the signing of singer, Brymo in 2011, who contributed his hooks to some of the songs from members of the crew.
However, in 2013, the group fell apart with the exit of Jesse Jagz and Brymo [who left in a quite unfriendly circumstances] from the label and even though Ice Prince stayed a little longer, what they once had could never be regained again.
With the new song, MI Abaga is finally making an attempt at closure, but is this coming four years too late?.
