The Ghanaian striker has been offloaded by FC Porto
Majeed Waris has been declared surplus to requirement by FC Porto and has been told to look for a new club, following his loan spell.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian joined FC Porto on loan last season from Lorient.
Despite, winning his first ever domestic league title, he struggled to get much playing time.
It has been reported that Majeed Waris and five others, namely, Saidy Janko, Ewerton, Oleg Reabcuik, Paulinho and Nigerian youngster Mikel Agu have been told by Coach Sérgio Conceição to find new clubs after they failed to impress him during pre-season.

Saidy Janko and Ewerton were hired a few weeks ago. They did not convince Conceição. The right back also signed until 2022, coming from Saint Etienne, such as Ewerton, formerly Portimonense.
The cases of Mikel Agu and Oleg Reabciuk are different. The Moldovan left back will return to team B with immediate effect and will have another year of competition in the II League; Mikel, with another three years of contract, again does not convince the coach and will leave.
