The embattled former GFA President has taken Anas Aremeyaw Anas on over the ‘Number 12’ expose’ video.
Kwesi Nyantakyi has filed a writ against Anas Aremeyaw Anas for defamatory of character according to reports.
The latest investigative piece on football dubbed 'Number 12' of the multiple award winning undercover journalist caught several football and match officials on camera receiving bribes.
Kwesi Nyantakyi who was at the centre of the scandal was also shown in the video accepting monies suspected to be bribe and had to step down as the President of the Ghana Football Association and also relinquished his positions at FIFA and CAF.
Some Ghanaians, including MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong have been critical of the modus operandi of Anas Aremeyaw Anas and has also premiered his own version of investigation dubbed 'Who Watches the Watchman' on the renowned journalist in his quest to expose him.

Kwesi Nyantakyi who is currently serving a 90-day ban from FIFA for bringing the name of the game into disrepute has dragged Anas Aremeyaw Anas to court to redeem his reputation.
