Changed Man: I started smoking ‘wee’ in 2004 – KK Fosu reveals

According to KK Fosu, he felt the urge to smoke because most of his peers were doing it at the time.

Highlife and hiplife artiste Kaakyire Kwame Fosu, popularly known as KK Fosu, has revealed that he started smoking marijuana in 2004.

According to him, he felt the urge to smoke because most of his peers were doing it at the time.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the singer said although smoking sometimes helps, it most often destroys the immune system.

 

The ‘Anadwo yede’ hit maker also noted that marijuana had a negative effect on him during his fledgling years as a musician.

He, therefore, advised the upcoming generation to desist from smoking marijuana or any other psychoactive drug.

“We started smoking in 2004. We wanted to be hard and all that… It was helping somehow. Somehow it will waste your immune system. But there are others who will use it for tea. But for the smoking I will not advise anyone to go into that…”  he disclosed.

KK Fosu was speaking as part of a campaign against drug abuse, which seems to have blighted many youths in the country.
