See How An Airport cleaner returns $6,000 found in toilet


A cleaner at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos State, Charity Bassey, as of late found a nylon containing $6,000 esteemed at over N2million in the can at the air terminal while cleaning it and returned it to the security office at the air terminal.

Bassey was on obligation at the takeoff wing of the airplane terminal when she got the thing from the floor in the latrine. Describing how she found the cash, Blessing said;

"I went in and saw the little dark nylon on the floor. It looked filthy and unpleasant, you won't know it is cash that was inside it. I picked it, felt a few notes inside and took it to the client mind. I was given a glove to draw out the substance and I tallied 60 bits of $100 dollar bank notes."

She anyway says neither her workers nor the airplane terminal administrators nor the proprietor of the cash repaid her for her motion. She includes that she wasn't trouble she was not given her anything.

"No one gave me anything, the supervisor, organization or even the proprietor who later returned searching for the cash. I am notwithstanding, not demoralized as I do my best to complete a great job with clear heart. This isn't the first occasion when I am grabbing overlooked things like wallets, telephones, little sacks and even cash. I have dependably returned them to the cutting edge work area or client mind work area," she said

Review that in 2014, an air terminal cleaner, Josephine Agwu, discovered N12 million inside the air terminal latrine and returned it. She was commended and gotten money blessings after her fair demonstration.
