Some days ago, Federal Government through the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has announced that there will be no form of electronic voting in 2019 general elections.
During a three-day international conference on the use of technology for the conduct of elections in Africa, INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu categorically said the commission will not use any form of technology at the polls come 2019.
You will recall that the last general election in Nigeria witnessed the use of technology in a bid to reduce the high rate of malpractice in the nation’s electoral process.
At the cancellation of electronic voting for the next election, the question that readily comes to mind is 
1. Is There Any Corrupt Motive Attached To FG’s Decision To Cancel Electronic Voting In 2019?
2. Without Electronic Voting, Will Nigeria Record A High Degree Of Credible Election In 2019?
