A promising and beautiful woman by name, Fortue Nosiwe has taken to social media to announce that she’s HIV positive.

Fortue said she took the step in order to create awareness that HIV is not a death sentence.

The woman from South Africa has been getting commendations from Twitter users who hailed her for taking the bold step.

Asked how long she has been living with the virus by a Twitter user, she replied: “It’s less than 2 weeks… But well just decided to speak out about it… and I think I made a good decision because people are really supportive.”

While commending her for living her life to the full, a user wrote: “You made a good decision. Indeed there is nothing to be ashamed of…if you lead a healthy lifestyle and take your meds you are good as the rest.”
