She doesn’t return my calls. She doesn’t start a conversation. What should I do?
Dear reader,
I’ve been with a girl for almost two years. I’ve done a lot for her.
She’s self-centered, tilts her phone when I’m with her. She replies me late when I text her, she doesn’t give me attention anymore.
She doesn’t return my calls. She doesn’t start a conversation.
What should I do?
_____________
I think the handwriting is clearly written on the wall.
You are in a relationship with her but she seems to no longer be in one with you. I know it might be difficult to accept but one can only go so far with a relationship that lacks reciprocity. It does not work for long.
I think it’s time for you to face the reality that that woman is not right for you and your emotional and physical investments might just be a waste.
Before you walk away though, I don’t want to rule out the possibility that you are the one not doing right by her. Don’t get me wrong; you might be doing a lot for her but be missing the most important things.
So have a conversation with her and ask her what you are doing wrong.

Don’t approach the conversation from a standpoint of being right and seeking changes from her. Instead, ask her to help you become a better partner. Tell her you want to do right by her and would love to know what you are not doing right.
What this does is to exhaustively show that you put her first all through the relationship. If that does not work and she continues to treat you as badly as she apparently does now, then you can be sure that you did all you possibly could but she just didn’t deserve it.
You can walk away then because you surely deserve better than someone who wouldn’t meet you halfway and put in the same effort you’re putting into getting things right in the relationship.
