Nigerian Players abroad: Etebo defeats fellow Nigerians in relegation battle

Super Eagles players Success Isaac, Brown Ideye and Oghenekaro Etebo were in action as Las Palmas battled Malaga.

Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo defeated compatriots Success Isaac and Brown Ideye in La Liga relegation battle.

Spanish La Liga outfit Las Palmas welcomed Malaga in a matchday 22 fixture, which was important as both sides aim to avoid relegation to the second division.
Etebo who moved to Las Palmas  in the winter transfer window was in action for all ninety minutes of the encounter.
Ideye who joined Malaga in the transfer window started the game, while Success was named among the substitutes but came in in the 78 minute.
Las Palmas picked up all three points via a late goal by Croatian midfielder Alen Halilovic in the 90th minute.

Emanuel Emenike completed a loan move from to Las Palmas recently but was not named in the match squad.
