Looks like the court case filed against Burna Boy for his alleged robbery attack on Mr 2Kay is far from over as it has been adjourned again.
The court case filed against Burna Boy for alleged armed robber attack on Mr 2Kay has been adjourned.
The case which was supposed to be held at Court 1 of the Ikeja Magistrate Court, Ikeja on Monday, February 19, 2018, was adjourned till April 17, 2018. This was revealed by the prosecution counsel. Reasons for the adjournment was given as at the time of filing this report.
However, both parties to the suit weren't available on the day of the sitting as it is reported that Burna boy is away in the UK promoting his new album, 'Outside' while Mr 2Kay is in South Africa where he performed at the live eviction show of the reality TV show, Big Brother Naija.
It would be recalled that this who court drama started back in 2017 when Mr. 2Kay was robbed and beaten to a pulp in his hotel room at Eko Hotel and Suites after performing at the "Buckwyld 'n' Breathless".

Shortly after the incident, the police took up the investigation leading to the arrest of four suspects. According to the press statement released by Edgal Imohimi, the suspects were paid to N50,000 before the attack on Mr. 2Kay and another N50,000 was paid directly by Burna boy after the job was done.
After this revelation, Burna Boy was declared wanted by the police. His management team, however, revealed that he would honour the police invitation which he finally did.
