ABUJA-MEMBERS of the House of Representatives ad-hoc Committee probing the sudden termination of Integrated Logistics Ltd Services, INTELS contract by Nigeria Ports Authority, NPA on Wednesday said counsel to the company has no right to speak at the hearing due to improper representation.

At the hearing,INTELS counsel Mr Kenneth Irabor simply introduced himself as the company’s legal supervisor and gave the excuse that his company received the letter of summon just on Tuesday.

This excuse did not go down well with the ad-hoc Committee chairman, Rep Pally Iriase, who immediately consulted his documents and read out the date the letter was received.

He said “the letter was submitted on February 12 and one Sunday Yashe signed for it, you need to beam a searchlight on what happened to it in your office.

The members at this point, unanimously agreed to silent the INTELS counsel. Details soon…
