Bishop Oyedepo: ‘It is an insult to say I am worth $150M’ — Living Faith founder

‘It is an insult to say I am worth $150M’ — Bishop Oyedepo

This statement has received a reaction from OAP and religious activist, Daddy Freeze.

Bishop David Oyedepo is not happy with Forbes’ assessment of his wealth.

The founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners’ Chapel, says it is an insult to say that he is worth just $150 million.

During a recent sermon, the popular man of God said, “Some fella said ‘ok, I was worth $150m.’ I said, that's an insult.”

“$150m? That’s an insult. I’m worth Philippians 4:19 — ‘my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory”, he adds with a smile.

The Cleric continued saying, “$150m? Too small. That can’t be.”

Bishop Oyedepo on Forbes list

Earlier this year, the 2018 list of the world’s richest pastors was released.

The Living Faith founder, who is also an author and architect, was named number one with a net worth of $150 million.

This wealth is said to be from his Faith Tabernacle, a 50,000-seat church auditorium, Covenant University and Landmark University.

Pastor Adeboye, Chris Oyakhilome, Prophet T.B Joshua and Bishop T.D. Jakes also made the list.
