1. Taraba
According to report 55 people were killed in Lau Local Government Area, Taraba where an invasion and attack began just last week.
Officially, 25 bodies were recovered and given a mass burial on Tuesday, January 9, 2017.
Policemen and soldiers are currently patrolling the area, and it would be advisable not to head to Taraba for any adventure seeking right now.
According to the official count, the death toll has risen to 55 while more bodies were recovered on Wednesday morning, January 10, 2018, by the locals.
2. Benue

According to human rights activist, Ukan Kurugh, 73 Benue state indigenes lost their lives during the incident.

Tiv leaders in Nasarawa state have alleged the killing of four persons in Awe and Keana local government areas on January 1, 2018.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, DSP Idirisu Kennedy, told newsmen that the command was aware of the apprehension following the attacks in Benue leading to an influx of people to Nasarawa State.
