The new trend in which we get to find out when couples are having marital issues is the when they begin to unfollow each other on Instagram. That's a tell-tale sign. This has happened a few times in Nigeria which caught the public eye.
We bring to you couples who have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
1. Kanu Nwankwo and Amara Kanu
Ok, guys, this is one couple no one ever in their wildest imaginations believed would ever get into a fight not to talk about a public drama. Well, it all started when Amara called out her husband's brother, Ogbonna on Instagram for allegedly taking her son's football ticket and attending a football match which was meant to be for her son and his father.
It was quite a shocking act from the footballer's wife. A few days later we found out that they were not following themselves on Instagram.
2. Dr Sid and Simi Esiri

Well in the case of this beautiful couple, their relationship and if they are back in good terms is still a bit sketchy. But we all got to know that there was a crisis in paradise when the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. Then we saw photos of Simi where she had taken off her wedding ring and alas we knew something was wrong somewhere. Well recently at the baby naming ceremony of media personality Dolapo Oni's baby, the couple were spotted together giving us the hint that they might have resolved their differences.
3. Chris Attoh and Damilola Adegbite
Now, this was one relationship turned marriage that we all drooled to. They both looked right for each other, at least that was what we all thought until we began to see cracks in the union. First was when Damilola unfollowed Chris on Instagram and Chris followed suit. It just didn't end there, the mother of one also removed her husband's name from her initials. Even though these guys didn't go messy about their separation, it was Chris Attoh who revealed that he and Damilola had ended their marriage.
