The new NYSC payment method now uses a pay engine to ease payment procedure for prospective corps members.
The management of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) has introduced a new payment method for prospective corps members (PCM).
In a bid to make payment easier for PCM, NYSC on Saturday, January 12 announced the use of a pay engine through the scheme's official portal.
Here are seven simple guides on how to make payment on NYSC portal, using the pay option the scheme made available.
1. Prospective corp members should go to the portal home page (http://ift.tt/1Qdit7S), follow the following steps: Click on “Login”.
2. Enter your email ID and Password to login
3. Click on “click here to make payment”. After a successful login, then click on “Proceed to Payment,” once the payment confirmation page is displayed and you will be redirected to the Payment Engine with various payment options.
4. Option A: For Cards and Wallet Payments;
Clicks on “Pay now with Cards or Wallets”
Provides card details, pin and any other information required and if the transaction is successful, the redirect URL is loaded, then click on the status of the transaction.
Option B: Paying in any Bank Branch:
Copy the RRR number generated by NYSC portal and take to any of the approved banks. Click on “see available bank branches” to view the banks.
5. After making the payment at the bank branch, you can check payment status on the URL:http://ift.tt/2oJKmN5. Then input your transaction reference number/email id or phone number used in Registering online.
6. Click on “continue” to query Remita and view the transaction detail.
7. Click on “Get status” to view the details of payments

NYSC suspends Orientation programs in Benue
Meanwhile, NYSC has said that the 2017 Batch ‘B’ stream II orientation course scheduled to hold in Benue from January 16 to February 5 has been suspended till further notice.
The management of the scheme made the announcement on its official Facebook page in Abuja on Sunday, January 14 adding that a new date would be communicated in due course to prospective corps members deployed to the state for the orientation.
