2018 has arrived. As usual, churches have released their yearly watchwords.

Pulse Religion takes a look at some from popular denominations. Here are 12 2018 watchwords from Nigerian churches.

Bishop David Oyedepo’s church, which is popularly known as Winners Chapel, has released his watchword for 2018. It is ‘A New Dawn’. Coincidentally, it was the theme for Shiloh 2017.

Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye’s theme for 2018 is ‘Songs Of Victory.’

House On The Rock

Pastor Paul Adefarasin’s church has tagged 2018 ‘the year of becoming!’

Pastor David Ibiyeomie‘s church says 2018 is “Our Year of Expansion!”

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo’s church welcomes everyone to the “Year of THE NEW.”

Christ Apostolic Church

Fun fact- the 2018 watchword was released in November 2017. It is taken from the book of Psalm 80: 19 which says “Restore us, O Lord God of hosts, cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved.”

The 2017 watchword was from John 9:4 which reads, “And He said to them,” Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
