Joel Daniel and Ladan Muhammed who played for the Golden Eaglets in 2017 have signed for Degefors IF in Sweden.
Their move to the Swedish second tier outfit has been concluded according to media reports.
According to OwngoalNigeria, the duo was first spotted by the club scouts when they turned out for Jos-based Gee-Lec Academy in a tournament that had scouts from European teams in attendance.
The Nigerian prospects have signed three year deals, according to their agent Babawo Mohammed.
”Joel and Ladan are part of the reasons why I travelled to Sweden at the end of last year, and it has paid off now for them. Sweden is a nice place for young players to develop,” he told Owngoalnigeria.
”Degefors are an ambitious side despite their status as a second division team, the addition of Ladan and Joel will no doubt help their quest to qualify to play in the first division in the future."
Both players were part of the Golden Eaglet squad that failed to qualify for both the African U-17 Cup of Nations and FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017.
