'I was heartbroken when I saw that she [Funke Akindele] was taken off the list' - Daddy Freeze.
Daddy Freeze and Tonto Dike have reacted to the removal of Funke Akindele’s name from "Avengers: Infinity War" IMDb page.
The actress' name no longer appears on the Marvel Comics movie's IMDb page. The movie also does not appear on the actress' IMDb page as well.
The change came a few days after the Internet went wild when the Nollywood actress was listed among the full cast of the movie as a member of Dora Milaje on IMDb.
Daddy Freeze's reaction to 'removal' of actress' name
Reacting to the removal, Daddy Freeze, who stars alongside Akindele in "Industreet," said he was sad when he discovered that her name was taken off the list.
He added that if Marvel knew the kind of publicity the incident has brought them, they would pay the hacker, find a role for Akindele, and shoot her alongside the cast of "Avengers: Infinity War."
Responding to Daddy Freeze's post, Tonto Dikeh wrote: "Sad,was so happy) well, she is our Star and we love her regardless..it will happen, this just paved the way I sense it.."
Akindele's role in "Avengers: Infinity War"
Akindele was initially listed as one of the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther, recruited from every tribe of Wakanda.
She was listed alongside other cast of the anticipated film, including Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr, Scarlet Johannson among others.
Pulse had reached out to Akindele and her publicist for a statement on the trending story but got no response.
