Nigerian singer Davido plays a young pilot in a new Nollywood film about pilot turned business mogul, Idahosa Wells Okunbo.
Titled "Legend at Sixty," the documentary which chronicles the life of the billionaire as a business magnate, investor, philanthropist and trained commercial pilot, is Davido's second work as an actor.
The documentary also stars Solomon Akiyesi, Maureen Ihua and Charles Awurum.
Davido shared the teaser to celebrate Okubo, who turned 60 on January 7, 2018.
Davido's acting Debut
In 2015, Davido made his acting debut in the movie "John Zerebe," alongside Gloria Young, Ikey Ojeogwu, Kanfui Danku, Emma Blaq and Mimi Orjiekwe.
Produced by his cousin Ojeogwu, the movie was directed by Odiba Alfred. It never made it to the cinemas.
A career in acting for Davido?
In 2015, when Pulse Nigeria asked if he would consider acting as a career, Davido said: "Never. I think if it weren't for him (pointed at cousin and producer of movie), I would never do it. But I had fun doing it."
In 2016, the singer had indicated his interest to be a part of the hit TV show "Empire," after Taraji P Henson commended his song "How long' featuring Tinashe.
