2. Calculate your earning

After doing your monthly assessment of your monthly expenses, you need to calculate your how much you earn monthly excluding your tax.

This should also include all the extra money you make by the side. Then sum it all up.  

3. Subtract your expenses from your earnings

The next step after calculating your earnings is to subtract your expenses from your earnings.

Subtracting your monthly expenses from your monthly earnings will give you an idea of how much will be left of your earnings at the end of each month.

4. Adjust your budget

Adjusting and reworking your budget is the next thing you need to do after subtracting your expenses from your earnings if your budget is not really working for you.

5. Create a place for your debt in your budget

Look at how well you have done. Did you do bad or was there an improvement in your expenditure.
