Davido and Wizkid are among a host of young Nigerians awarded by The Future Awards Africa for peak performance in 2017.
The Future Awards has recognised Davido, Wizkid and a host of other young Nigerians who have been able to defy the odds to do amazing things in their respective fields in 2017.
The artistes got the awards at a well-attended event held tonight, December 9, 2017, at the the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This year's edition, hosted by Adekunle Gold and Mimi Onalaja, sees Davido pick up the prize of recognition in Music while Wizkid wins the personality of the year award. Starboy was unavailable to pick up the award for himself.

Prize in Sports: Anthony Joshua.
OAP (Visual): Nancy Isime.
OAP (Audio): Tisan Jeremiah Bako.
Music: Davido.
Young Person of The Year: Wizkid.
Business: Bisola Borha.
The Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo was among the special guests to grace the ocassion.
Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun state, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna and Oby Ezekwesili were also in attendance as were actors, Sola Shobowale, Richard Mofe Damijo, Funke Akindele, Rita Dominic, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Lilian Esoro, Juliet Ibrahim, etc.
Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay, Mayorkun, Timi Dakolo, Kenny Blaq and others had performances that thrilled the audience to make the night one that'll not be forgotten in a hurry.
