4 courses secondary school leavers are advised to study

These courses have been said to be the future as they are said to be designed for 21 century use.

Nigerian parents usually believe Law, Medicine and Engineering are the only courses that will not become obsolete because they are in high demand.

We need to move on from this old belief now as there are more courses that are more relevant and are in higher demands.

These courses have been said to be the future as they are said to be designed for 21 century use and beyond according to Nigerian Twitter users.

Twitter Nigeria discusses everything from Politics to Entertainment and useful pieces of advice for graduates, undergraduates and admission seekers.

And this time, the social media platform is advising university admission seekers to study courses that will never go obsolete.

As advised by a twitter user, @mossausmann four courses are in high demand and he advised parents and guardians to persuade their children to study one of them in higher institutions.

He advised:

''If you have siblings yet to start university, persuade them to find interest Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Renewable Energy and Robotics. There are courses that are obsolete now. Some courses are in demand than others. Serve as a guide to your siblings''.

Where to study these courses

A lot of Nigerian Universities do not offer this courses though but Federal University of Technology, Minna and The Technical University, Ibadan offer Cyber security and robotics.

These courses apparently are the future and it is high time Nigerian admission seekers moved away from developing interest in obsolete courses like Business Administration and gain admission to study the aforementioned courses.
